April 20th, 2024 | Tokyo, Japon | Team RJHH
SUSHIBOYS will release their new single, “Onigiri (おにぎり)“, this Saturday, April 20. The music video will be released at 8:00 p.m. This new single follows their success with “New Year’s Card 2024 (Tatsuna)“, a creative project highlighting Japanese culture through New Year’s cards.
“Onigiri (おにぎり)” explores the theme of Japanese rice balls from various perspectives. The members of SUSHIBOYS stated that this song aims to support young people starting a new phase in their lives. Farmhouse, who recorded his part while feeling unwell after eating rice balls made with salt extracted from his sweat for a promotional campaign, delivered a powerful verse despite his condition. The “Onigiri (おにぎり)” music video features an intriguing scene with a polystyrene rice ball rolling down a hill, seemingly satirizing the 2024 logistics issue. The group also released another song, “Shirame“, last July, showcasing their constant creativity and ability to tackle diverse subjects. Don’t miss the music video release this Saturday at 8:00 p.m.!
