Japanese rapper G-k.i.d, a former member of the BAD HOP collective, has just released his second solo single, “Oneway Drive feat. Kohjiya“.
After his first single, NEWDAY, G-k.i.d continues his solo journey with this new track. The song evokes driving without a specific destination, symbolizing freedom and progress toward the future. It explores the theme of a musical journey where one takes the wheel without knowing where to go, letting the music guide us to overcome our past and accelerate toward new stages.
The collaboration with Kohjiya brings positive energy and a flow that reinforces this feeling of moving forward resolutely, creating an atmosphere of excitement and optimism. A pleasant flow characterizes the track and beat, inviting the listener to be carried away by the music.

On BAD HOP’s final album, “THE FINAL Edition“, released on February 9, 2024, G-k.i.d distinguished himself on several notable tracks, including “Day N Night,” “Locker,” and “Lonely Child.”
Since BAD HOP’s dissolution, G-k.i.d has intensified his solo career in music and as an actor. He notably participated in the drama series “警視庁麻薬取締課 MOGURA” on AbemaTV, alongside lead actor Hannya, where he demonstrated his natural charisma and expressive power.
