“Awakening feat. Raimon (REDORCA/smorgas)” – Released on December 6, 2023
The first single features Raimon, the leader of the fusion group smorgas and RED ORCA. The collaboration between Raimon and BANBI was sealed during a session in Tokyo, evolving into a fruitful friendship. The track, co-written by both artists, delves into Raimon’s hidden daily emotions, exploring themes of darkness and light.
“NEW SONG feat. KMC” – Released on December 20, 2023
The second installment highlights KMC, the artist who left a lasting mark with his latest album, “ILL KID“, and his recent single, “September 2021.” The collaboration between BANBI and KMC extends beyond music, as BANBI will join KMC’s monthly project, “Yamibashi,” starting from February 2023. The song explores the theme of “New Songs,” capturing post-pandemic life and inviting listeners to reflect on the importance of human connections.
“Will Kill feat. ZTMZ” – Released on January 1, 2024
The latest consecutive release is an explosive collaboration with ZTMZ, a group operating around the Chuo Line in central Tokyo. The single, slated to be the first work of 2024, showcases BANBI’s aggressive rhythm, expressing an opposite side to ZTMZ’s serenity in their last work, “Happy Awa.” The music video, directed by Ness (Eschakra), will be launched simultaneously on New Year’s Day, promising a visual experience as captivating as the music itself.
