On March 12, NENE will release her new digital single “Sunshine feat. 陽“, collaborating with talented Tohoku rapper 陽 (Yo). This new track follows “Don’t let me go“, released last November, and once again benefits from SIB’s production. For this occasion, NENE partnered with 陽 (Yo), a rapper whose impressive potential has earned him growing recognition, mainly through his performances at the KOK competition and various collaborations in the rap scene.
“Sunshine” explores the essential relationships that define us, where two beings complement each other like the moon and sun, illuminating one another. The chorus, “The reason I continue to believe is you“, evokes that person or thing that drives us. The enveloping atmosphere created by their soft voices resembles the sensation of the first rays of morning sunlight – a song to listen to while thinking of those who matter in our lives.

About NENE
A singer-songwriter from Osaka, NENE’s roots lie in R&B music. Deeply influenced by Neo-Soul, which she discovered with passion during her teenage years, she has forged a unique musical style that blends these two genres. Her delicate and powerful voice and the distinctive atmosphere she creates have earned her growing recognition both in Japan and internationally. At the end of 2021, NENE released her first EP, “Room 25“, followed by a second EP, “DROWN IN MY KARMA“, on February 21, 2024. That same year, she collaborated with Warushi, an Osaka rapper and producer, on the joint album “COMMON GROUND” and with 1Law, leader of the hip-hop group “G.B.C. Camp” from Kishiwada (Osaka), for the collaborative EP “invisible.”
Additionally, her guest appearance on “Get Over It” by Snowk feat. NENE was a great success, featuring on TikTok’s weekly chart for seven consecutive weeks. NENE actively continues her collaborations with various artists and producers, continuously expanding her musical horizon.
