Rapper and beatmaker Vue du Monde has made a grand return with the release of his new album, “NEW OLD“, on Wednesday, July 10th. Coinciding with this highly anticipated release, the music video for “Mawaru feat. RITTO” was also published, bringing his fans a double dose of creativity.

Born in Kanazawa City in Ishikawa Prefecture and currently based in Tokyo, Vue du Monde is an artist of many talents. In addition to his solo projects, he is a member of the unit PACK3 with BLABLA and m-al, manages the Nat Monk Records label, and organizes the “Nat Monk Fes” event. His diverse activities demonstrate his commitment and influence in the music world. “NEW OLD” is Vue du Monde’s third album in five years, following his previous work “ZEN ROADS“. This album features 12 tracks and showcases collaborations with renowned artists such as RITTO, Eminata, DJ Mitsu the Beats (GAGLE), Budamonk, and Manju. The album stands out for its remarkable musical diversity, ranging from smooth tunes to conscious rap and club beats, all infused with Vue du Monde’s unique jazzy sound.

The music video for “Mawaru“, featuring RITTO, is an innovative visual work that combines animation and live action. Directed by Tomoki, an animator whose reputation continues to grow nationally and internationally, the video promises to captivate viewers with its originality and refined aesthetics. To celebrate the release of “NEW OLD”, Vue du Monde will host a launch party at Ebisu Time Out Cafe & Dinner in Tokyo on Friday, August 16th. Additional launch concerts are planned outside of Tokyo, allowing a broader audience to experience the album live.
