Tsubaki continues to leave a mark with her new project. In November 2017, she released her highly anticipated album “MISAKIMURASAKI“, quickly becoming one of the year’s most listened-to underground albums. In 2024, she returns with a remixed version of this album titled “MISAKIMURASAKI(REMIX)“, in collaboration with the talented producer THE BUFFALOZ.
He was known for his exceptional skills as a performer and composer, and he took charge of directing all 13 remixed tracks. These new remixes are true masterpieces that perfectly align with Tsubaki’s underground rap style. The highly melodic tracks incorporate instruments such as piano and various synthesizers, all driven by sharp hip-hop percussion.
At 25 years old, Tsubaki already has a 10-year career behind her. Since her teenage years, she has performed as a guest artist in her hometown of Fukuoka and throughout Kyushu, Osaka, Tokyo, and other cities. Her determination and talent have allowed her to make a name for herself in the Japanese rap scene. In 2011, she made a sensation by winning first place in a national online vote, which allowed her to participate in the final of the B-BOY PARK Winter Battle – MC BATTLE. In 2013, she released her first EP, “Tasuku”, in a limited edition, marking the beginning of her discography. She then moved to Tokyo and gained recognition on stages like AsONE and ADRENALINE. She also expanded her activities with Byte Spirit and appearances at Freestyle Dungeon. In 2016, she stood out as a finalist in the main tournament of Curse CYPHER, where she was selected as MVP among all the qualifiers. In 2017, she won the 2nd CINDERELLA MC BATTLE and the UMB qualifiers in Fukuoka, becoming the first female champion in Japanese history.
Tsubaki, the iron femme fatale representing Fukuoka, continues to fight against adversity and inspire her fans. With the release of “MISAKIMURASAKI(REMIX)“, she once again proves her ability to reinvent herself and dominate the Japanese underground rap music scene, sparking excitement among her fans for her new project.
