Japanese rapper Miyauchi, hailing from the Kawasaki-ku district of Kawasaki, makes a strong impact by releasing his second mixtape, The Mixtape 2, available today, Tuesday, January 14th. Following the viral success of his track Swag on the Chinese version of TikTok, Douyin, the artist returns with an ambitious project featuring 11 carefully crafted tracks.
For The Mixtape 2, Miyauchi teamed up with renowned producers such as DopeOnigiri & DJ YUTO, K LARK a.k.a. KOTA, and WAZGOGG to deliver a remarkable variety of sounds. The project reflects Miyauchi’s desire to explore diverse musical styles while maintaining a high level of quality for each track.
Alongside the release of the mixtape, Miyauchi also unveiled the music video for the track “バイトやめた” (I Quit My Part-Time Job), directed by Ryoma Yoshimura. The video showcases captivating performances by Aya Ezoe and Fati Asanuma, adding a powerful and immersive visual dimension to the song.
