After the CD release on October 14, 2024, the group GAGLE now announces the vinyl edition of their seventh album, Plan G. Available as a 2LP set, this reissue promises an even more immersive and refined listening experience for music enthusiasts.
Originally released last year, this album consists of twelve tracks, each showcasing the unique synergy between the group’s members: the modern, evolving beats of DJ Mitsu the Beats, the sharp and passionate rap of HUNGER, and the precise scratches of DJ Mu-R. Together, they have combined their talents to deliver a sonically rich album.
Notably, four tracks previously released as previews have undergone a new mix and remastered sound, further refining the overall listening experience. For this, GAGLE collaborated with renowned experts: mixing was handled by Taiji Okuda, while the mastering—specially optimized for vinyl—was carried out by Kelly Hibbert, a famous engineer known for working with artists such as J Dilla, Madlib, Flying Lotus, and Hiatus Kaiyote. The album’s visual identity has also been meticulously crafted: Naotoshi Takabayashi designed the cover, and Shigeru Omae wrote the liner notes.
