ELIONE’s fifth album, “So Far So Good,” was released on Wednesday, March 1st, and fans were delighted to discover the 15 tracks on this opus, entirely produced by the talented BACHLOGIC. The album features choice collaborations with some of the biggest names in the Japanese rap scene, including Tsukaki, Norikiyo, AKLO, and Fuji Taito. But what sets this album apart is the presence of Mummy-D, one of the references of Japanese rap from the 90s, who brings a unique quality to this opus.
The announcement of this album, “So Far So Good,” was confirmed with the release of the single “99% (Remix)” in June 2022, which had already allowed the collaborations of SALU and RYKEYDADDIRTY to be noticed. But it is on the entire project that one can appreciate the beautiful productions of BACHLOGIC, as well as the impressive phrases and excellent melodies created in collaboration with ELIONE.
The word “Loyalty,” which seems to be the artist’s motto, appears several times in the lyrics of the album, testifying to ELIONE’s loyalty to hip-hop music and the constant improvement of his skills over the years. And because he never forgot his friends, the magnificent guest performers have come together for this opus. The album shines precisely because it reflects the confidence and conviction that ELIONE has cultivated over the years. “So Far So Good” is, therefore, a new representative work that reaches a new frontier as the culmination for the artist. We are won over by this album, which testifies to all the talent and creativity of ELIONE and his loyalty to the art of hip-hop.
