CHICO CARLITO: Third album “Grandma’s Wish” released

CHICO CARLITO, the famous Naha (Okinawa) rapper, released his brand new album titled “Grandma’s Wish” on Friday, June 30th. This latest album marks his third full-length studio album. The album consists of 10 tracks, including hit singles such as “Day by Day“, “The Saga Continues“, and “The Best Kid feat. Bonbero“. The choice of the album title, “B.G.D“, holds deep meaning for CHICO CARLITO. Before its official release, during an interview on FM Okinawa, he stated:

“I will not waste or neglect the life my grandmother gave me. I hope this means that I am in Tokyo with this kind of determination.”

Therefore, this title symbolizes the artist’s gratitude towards his grandmother and his determination to succeed in the music industry. Among the album’s highlights is the track “The Best Kid“, a collaboration with Bonbero. The music video was directed by MESS, a talented director who managed to capture the stoicism of both CHICO CARLITO and Bonbero, as well as the undeniable charm of a rapper mastering his art.
