BUPPON: "Mother" Album Re-released in Limited Vinyl Edition

BUPPON’s masterpiece, “Mother“, initially released in 2023, will be available in a limited vinyl edition with exclusive artwork. Pre-orders start today. The album, a masterful work that BUPPON dedicated to his mother, will experience new life in vinyl LP format with exclusive cover art and an additional bonus track. Pre-orders are now open.

This work, created by BUPPON, a solitary lyricist, Yamaguchi, can be proud of, was initially published in 2023. The album brings together impressive collaborations: his faithful companion Kojoe, ILL-BOSSTINO (who participated in the precursor single “Master Piece”), Mr.PUG from MONJU, his compatriot ケンチンミン (Kenchinmin), CCS records, and other talented MCs. On the production side, we find ENDRUN, 1Co.INR, Joint Beauty, Blooky Jeeky, ITOKU BEATS, yamabequo, and Kojoe.

The title track, “Mother,” which expresses gratitude and respect for his departed mother, and “命が動く時” (Inochi ga Ugoku Toki / When Life Moves),” which also received a music video, are touching pieces imbued with recognition, melancholy, and tenderness. At the same time, tracks like “Encount feat. Mr.PUG” and “Torches” demonstrate that his sharp sense of wordplay, his weapon since the beginning, is still as sharp as ever, making this album a true masterpiece.

For this vinyl edition, a bonus track “SCENE 2 (prod. Kojoe)” has also been added. In total, 12 tracks showcase BUPPON’s bluesy rap and rich poetic expression, capable of breathing a story even between the lines.
